Information and Autonomous Control System (INACOS) Laboratory is an integrated research hub established in 2014 that brings together professors and students from Telkom University. This laboratory falls under the Expertise Group (EG) of Electronic Systems (ES) and we are situated in Building P, specifically in Rooms P102 and P103. Additionally, our our workshop is located outside the 1’st floor of Building N, and we have a Research Center for Tea and Cinchona in Gambung. Unlike other labs that primarily focus on practical applications and research to find “how to” solutions and product designs, INACOS has the goal of developing research products that can compete in both local and international industries. Initially, when it was founded, the lab consisted only of students from the Electrical Engineering undergraduate program. However, in 2018, INACOS began to welcome students from all faculties at Telkom University to join as lab assistants.

As part of the academic community at Telkom University, INACOS also aims to create and publish research findings in the form of papers presented at both local and international seminars and related journals. Through these scientific publications, it is hoped to invite participation and collaboration from academic experts across campuses, both domestically and internationally, thereby expanding the research network and enriching the repository of cutting-edge research ideas.

For students, INACOS serves as a laboratory that nurtures their ideas, creativity, and immense curiosity to apply the knowledge they have acquired during their academic journey. Collaborations with industry practitioners will undoubtedly enhance their maturity and understanding of the industrial processes. In an indirect way, INACOS becomes a crucible that prepares students to venture into the industrial world, equipped with knowledge, skills, and a high spirit to provide solutions to the challenges they will face.
